I would have said Megaupload a few months ago...direct downloads are the best..torrents suck because you're expected to seed, and by seeding, you are also uploading the file, which is considered "illegal". Rapidshare if still works for you, that's your best bet dude.

google it. its a forum and you have to register, but other than that you just search for what you need and it links you to DD sites. Only thing is most of those require premium memberships to get decent speeds and to download whole movies (they are separated into like 10 parts, but most sites only alow one download at once and a maximum amount of downloads per day for free users)

You could always go the Usenet route. It costs money but it is anonymous (well more or less) and it's always fast.

My issue with all of the non p2p solutions is you often have to pay a sizeable amount of money to properly partake in them. Just spend the money actually purchasing the required material.

I buy what I can, but since I don't live in a large market not everything is available by legal means. Usenet is pretty cheap nowadays, I believe you can get unlimited access on Astraweb for $10 a month. Newzbin takes like $8 for 12 weeks.

Yeah fair enough, but op lives in the UK. We might have to wait a couple if weeks but we often get the majority of stuff.

I do what you do but with p2p. Don't illegally download music anymore because spotify has finally become a service that suits me. Tv shows still a lot though bit that's because most of the good stuff on tv we don't get at all over here.

BT do restrict torrents at certain times but I just downloaded Breaking bad about 30 ins ago in less than 5 minutes, I have yet to see this restriction.

You can get whats known a s a VPN which encrypts the data and also changes your IP address they can cost as little as a fiver per month this has the added benefit of encrypting all traffic and making you anonymous.
