What's the better console money wise: PS3 or Xbox 360?

money wise, to me it's the PS3, I understand it was expensive when it first came out, that's fine, but now the price is about right.

here's the thing though, if you get an Xbox360, you might as well pull your pants down and get cucumbered.

Yup, I think they are trying to push their HDD's too. I guess they assume that those buying the 4gb models don't have much cash, so allowing them to use an external storage device will give them an opportunity to at least buy more content from the marketplace. They know how to SQUEEZE every dime out of the consumer, that is for sure!

Yeah thats a valid point since most 3rd party games are better on 360 along with a better online service and the majority of games you'll be playing on any console including PS3 are you guessed it - 3rd party games.

I've been playing mostly 1st party games for the past 6 years....

That's all that I've had on the PS3.. exclusive games. (except one extremely good price on a multiplatform). Blu-ray and exclusives are the main reasons I bought the PS3 and that reasoning has been consistent for four years. Now via PS+, I've downloaded a few mp games for free.

There are far too many high quality third party games to ignore. More so than exclusives on the PS3 and 360 combined.

I totally agree. And some of my favorite games this gen are 3rd party.

Yeah, but I was pointing out that is not always true.... Since me and most of my friends almost only play exclusive of each console

Yeah, and I was pointing out that there are alot more 3rd party games on both platforms than there are exclusives. And that is definitely true. Just because you choose to limit yourself to exclusives doesn't change that fact.
