That's only first party exclusveswise though,I'll be getting Tales of Graces f (and Xillia if it makes it), and finally get Yakuza Dead Souls.

FYI: metacritic doesn't really mean much. there's a lot of bias in the media so it's not an accurate indicator of which system has better exclusives.

a better indicator is personal user reviews and comments. to me the ps3 has better exclusives because of the variety of games not being mostly shooters like the 360 and games that showcases the ps3 power. uncharted has the best graphics this gen. there's too many good games to name here. 360 has nothing that comes close to uncharted.

some exclusives i like on the 360 are alan wake and deadly premonition but overall the ps3 has better exclusives due to what i feel is variety.

i can't wait to play beyond. game variety like this.

Indeed, but buying GoW3 for only $12 was so worth the wait (in actuality it killed me having to go this long). Wal-Mart F'd up and had the wrong price on the game so they had no choice but to give it to me for that price. WIN! I have been playing catch up on games for quite some time. So many to play, and with my current life, so little time.

Meh. I haven't seen much difference between PS3 graphics and 360 graphics tbh. Even some 3rd party games like Skyrim look just as good as anything I've seen on the PS3. IMO Uncharted 3 is the only one that stands out over anything else. Everything else is just alot of Sony PR and fanboys overhyping.

Agreed. There are only certain games on PS3, and very rarely do they come up, that make me think it's at PS2 level (just see Ghost Recon Future Soldier).

For me it was Heavy Rain, God of War 3, and Uncharted that really showed extra power of the PS3. The only Xbox game that really impressed me was Halo Reach and Gears of War.

The 360 is spitting out turds now. Halo 4 will probably be my last purchase on the console. Gears 3 sucked and I couldn't even finish it. The Fable games have all sucked since the original.

E3 pretty much summed up the future of the 360. And it is not good.

The PS3 has so many great titles coming in 2013. And the best part is that they are new IP's. Except God of War, but all those games kick ass.

Im hoping this just means a new console is on its way...of course if it isnt then faaaark.

Just on that, do we have any big third party confirmed games in the 2nd half of next year?

I am still waiting for a game to beat out Battlefield 3 graphically on either console. Based on what I have seen so far that we have videos of, Halo 4 is looking to take the crown.

Honestly, I have seen plenty of games that look (to me) far better than the ones you list. However, I can't stand list wars, so I won't give my examples. Suffice to say, many would instantly mock my examples

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception looks amazing. In my opinion, Historical Research, Abducted, Cruisin' for a Bruisin' and The Dreamers of the Day were the most visually impressive levels in the game.

Yeah, it looks great most of the time. The one thing that always had me puke about it was the bad flat textures for certain areas of the game. Then of course, when Nathan Drake jumps AFTER taking a complete step off of the surfaces he was on. Ya know, placing his foot in mid air and pushing off of that spot to jump lol.

Unfortunately, UC3, while looking really good, is an extremely linear experience. Battlefield on the other hand, HUGE environments, lots of AI, lots of vehicles including jets and copters, great character animations, lots of destruction, tons of debris, tons of smoke, ashes, fire, tons and tons of physics, and still looks awesome and is the pinnacle of console graphics. Frost Bite engine is rockin' like dokken.

BF3 is still linear it just has bigger environments.
