I'm on the fence about it. I'm open to the idea of buying it, but I definitely won't buy one at launch. I never buy consoles at launch. I'll wait and see, if Wii U can build up a great library of games and goes down in price a little, then I'll be more inclined to pick one up. It has to have a really GREAT library of games, and I'm not using the term GREAT lightly. These have to be some incredible games.

I outgrew Mario and Zelda after the super NES and I bought a 64 and a GameCube and only liked a handful of games on each so i didn't buy a Wii and I'll never buy another Nintendo system unless they have enough games to justify me buying one that aren't made for 10 year old's

Gimme a few examples if you can think of the premiere first party games that are for "10 year olds", that you wouldn't buy.. list the reasoning that they are for 10 year olds.

Are very appealing to that age group and are suitable, no need to be ashamed if you like those games and try and make out that they're not, but they ain't aimed at adults
My point was I'm sure he has had enough experience with them and other games to decide that they're suited to the younger crowd

Thats a good way to look at it, 5 exclusives more or less validates a purchase
Obviously if you like their old IP's its a easier purchase, the good thing on the PlayStation side ( for me) is there was like 5 IP's & 5 new IP's and then the multiplats that ya interested in make it a no brainer
I'm hoping Nextgen is the same

This is a hard one for me, being a nintendo gamer at the moment i thought i would get the wii u straight away when it's released but over the last few weeks i have changed my mind. I shall now be getting a ps3 in a couple of weeks, my reasons are simple

1 - there are games that are due for release that i won't get on the wii u such as NFS Most Wanted, ratchet and clank.

2 - cod games are way better on the ps3, the wii versions of black ops and mw3 have been hacked to breaking point and i am unsure if black ops 2 will release on wii u.

3 - i have always been a play station person ( ps and ps2)

May be i shall get the wii u at some point who knows but right now i am looking forward to getting a ps3.
