Will you be purchasing a Nintendo Wii U?

This is a hard one for me, being a nintendo gamer at the moment i thought i would get the wii u straight away when it's released but over the last few weeks i have changed my mind. I shall now be getting a ps3 in a couple of weeks, my reasons are simple

1 - there are games that are due for release that i won't get on the wii u such as NFS Most Wanted, ratchet and clank.

2 - cod games are way better on the ps3, the wii versions of black ops and mw3 have been hacked to breaking point and i am unsure if black ops 2 will release on wii u.

3 - i have always been a play station person ( ps and ps2)

May be i shall get the wii u at some point who knows but right now i am looking forward to getting a ps3.

Those two lines were all you had to say, but I would have thought the PS3 was cheap enough and old enough to buy by buying standards before saying goodbye and ushering in the PS4.

For sure they are cheap enough now, i can pick up a 160 gb ps3 with 2 games for £200 at my local game store.

I paid for my last PS3 $250 320gb 2 dual shock sony controllers and 5 games including GT5. Ill be looking for another ps3 to use as a blu ray in my room hoping sony reveals the super slim soon.

I bought it off someone selling it off an ebay website its local in many areas I got my 3ds with Mario 3d land and mario kart for 130... I'm always looking for deals lol

I said before I think this Wii U is gonna be another GCN and thats a good thing
with the right games I maybe interested, but I ain't getting one at launch, I'll wait for the price to come down and pick up whats evers good with the more powerful Nextgen consoles being my main platform
But that's the problem, when they hit its be like the Wii all over again but not as bad because current gen still looks good even at 720p so at 1080p the games wont look as bad compared to PS4/720

Honest I was losing serious interest in the wii over the last Month or so anyone can tell you if they seen my post in regards to lack of info and all the damn rumors.

Now that we got official price launch and games also and I pre ordered I'm fucking stoke!

I hope its GCN in regards to first party titles. Console is looking great can wait to get my hands on the gamepad again!

Decided to go ahead and put one on preorder. I went with the basic version. I don't care for Nintendo Land and I have a 16GB SDHC memory card I can use until I need to get an external usb hard drive for it.

I was going to go with a Surface RT tablet but figured it would be best to wait a year or two before getting one to let the app market mature and I am sure the hardware will be much better.

1. I expect a little more than a moderate boost in tech and this seems to be less than that.
2. $350 is way too expensive for that tech as well.
3. They haven't showed any game that would be a must have for me.

Can't help but think how they shunned the hardcore with the Wii, so that kind of leaves me out of their circle.

I'm still on the fence about it. I'm only really interested in the Dragon Quest games but you rarely see Square Enix release any for the PlayStation platforms (the last one being Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2).

Pre-order with Super Mario Bros Wii U. This game is my only reason for getting a Wii (and to finally play Mario Bros Wii from previous gen)

I will be getting the Deluxe version. I own all current gen consoles and will also buy the new Xbox and PS4 when they come out unless they are unreasonably expensive. $350 for a brand new console is dirt cheap. The new controller is what interests me the most.

No thanks. I'm going to be getting a PS3 again which will tide me until the PS4 reaches a good price. Only game I'd play is Mario and I play that on my gf's DSi so I'm good. More games on Sony's platform for me.

No i wont be buying it. For two reasons. The specifications are very poor if compared to current generation computers and the games for nintendo arent interesting for me. Maybe only Pokemon or Mario but rest is low quality garbage.

Nintendo owns fatal frame series now to. The wii one didnt get exported but if they make a wii u one i fully expect it to be. Zombie u as well. That should be good. Eternal darkness on wii u, i can dream lol
