Will you be purchasing a Nintendo Wii U?

I haven't owned a Nintendo console since NES but I might consider a wii u, just not at launch.

I wont be getting it as the specifications arent impressing enough for a next generation console. Also im not really interested in games which are going to be released for it.

I just stated two reasons why i wont be buying the console. Whats your problem?

Sorry, i took it way too aggressively. If the specifications would be impressive i would just pick it up to see how good the games would run and look like on such hardware, even if i wouldnt be that interested in the consoles games.

The good thing about tech, even today, you can watch and read regarding how games look, run, how the hardware is used.. No need to buy it to try it. Heck, some places let you rent a system.

True but i like owning hardware which runs well and displays good results. If what i see from videos or screenshots looks good and impressive i buy this kind of hardware and use it myself. Same with computers and not only consoles.

1. Cheaper.
2. Not bothered with Nintendo Land.
3. Not bothered in things like the stands straight off the bat.
4. The digital redemption thing isn't fussing me.
5. I'll shove a 1TB hard drive in one of the USB slots, so the 32GB is not needed by me.

Yes. My body is Ready for Wii U I'll admit not to many games at launch I'm crazy over but Nintendo Land and NSMBU will be enough for me cause I still use my Ps3 and 3ds and I'm still buying games for those systems...

Yep. Im sure i would be able to find games i would like to play like NFS MW which is going to be released in 2013 for the Wii U.

I'll likely not be purchasing a Wii-U. I admit I'm interested if only because it's finally an HD Nintendo console, but I have little money to spare, and if I were to pick up a next-generation console at all I would go for the 720 or PS4 sooner than the Wii-U. If that happens, the only thing I'll really regret is missing out on Pikmin 3.

I am still on the fence about the Wii U. I will give it a couple of years to see how it goes and what titles the system will offer.
