my idea of stupidity is signing a bill that would provide state funding to religious schools and not realizing that it also applied to Muslim schools.

I encounter people, and see people on the news or on the internet - as well as the real world sometimes - (no offence but a lot of Americans are portrayed this way around the world - I'm not saying I believe all of Americans are like that though) which you would mistake for those who may have been cast for that movie.

Look, I'm not saying I'm smarter than anyone, but you read stuff in the news about all these stupid people doing stupid things like a woman who was struck by a car because she crossed a busy intersection on foot because Google Maps told her to, and it just makes you wonder where the world is heading.

In Louisiana, there was a representative who signed a bill that eventually allowed the state to provide public funding for religious schools, but she was shocked to discover that Islamic schools were receiving the same federal funding. She thought it would only apply to one religion. That's the stupid part, not the fact that Muslim schools were receiving funding, although that is also quite stupid because the state shouldn't give funding to any religion institution but I feel like that's another discussion for another thread.

...Because they continually diminish your rights directly underneath you, but nobody says a word? If they keep you believing you a voice, your vote counts or an opinion then they've done their job. They wouldn't want you uprising and taking back your country(s)
