It's not bad but it does remind me of the PlayStation 3 (the 60GB model anyway because of the silver trim), which is why a lot of these concepts fail. The actual consoles end up looking entirely different.

IMO the launch PS3 had the best features..the USB ports, the memory stick port, the SD CARD port, it was a pure media device and I loved it and used it quite a lot..then they introduced the slim..which took that away..including BC...

Absolutely the first PS3 phat was the packed with the more features bro. I do love my slim tho!

I'm glad that I don't have to worry about any of that. The Slim really does lack the features the Phat model has.

I hate concept designs. they are just meaningless guesswork. Also, it'll be a bad day when they do away with physical media. Look at the prices of current games on the store...its a ripoff. No more competition in the shops or ebay, no more bargains.

If all digital did happen, i would hope Sony, MS, Nintendo etc. would at least allow third party vendors on their consoles. Like having Steam allowed to sell ps4 games directly on the console. This would cause some major competition and lower prices a bit. So if PSN is trying to rip me off i can at least get a good deal on steam. Unlikely they'd allow steam though

I hope they come up with a really good design and are able to bring upon the new level of gaming that I am waiting for.
