Hey guys, I'm a newbie here & I need help, my blu-ray drive is toast & I'm looking for a new one but I'm not sure which 1 to get. My ps3 is an 80gb model: CECHL03
If anyone can help me it would be hugely appreciated, TIA

A new blu ray drive or a new PS3?
You could always get a new PS3, with warranty so if the drive or anything goes out on it, Sony will fix it. You get another blu ray drive and something else goes out, that's more money for you to spend.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

I see what you're saying but a new drive costs like £50 & that's a lot less than a new console, my ps3 is not under warranty but that's not a problem I know how to fit the new drive its just finding the proper one to get.

Could always buy a hold ps3 of eBay and teal the drive from it if it's out of warranty
