A little hazy on the details, but if my memory serves me right, there was some kind of ground work in the early stages for FFVII to be on nintendo instead, but it obviously got scrapped.

Honestly, it would be a real downer if this game does get cancelled. But at the same time, wouldn't be shocked. Never was that much info on versus after all these years.

When crap like this comes out you have to really have to stop and think about if it really makes sence. And too much of this rumor didn't to me at all.

It made me evaluate "well, what have I seen of versus that warrants excitement?"

I have seen some emo fmv, and some bland devil may cry style fighting and running through bland grey cityscape , and then some FF12 style fields.

recently the dude said in a versus meeting there was stuff in the presentation that will blow us away, well show us then, because we have not seen enough for 6 years worth of work.
