So I've started some of the side quest stuff. Thought I'd get Yuna's stuff out of the way, first. Captured the creatures, and got Yojimbo. Gotta go get Anima next. And I didn't miss any puzzles because of the early warnings. So far, Yuna's stuff has been fun since it's typical find the hidden Aeons stashed away.

Do what you want. It's going to be fun when you're working on sigils despite the labor you have to go through. Capturing monsters is really simple as you're seeing, leave the battle arena for the end. You'll enjoy every thing else during the process.

Ok I'm in Lunatic Pandora set to fight Mobile Type 8. I fought it, but then lost to Adel. Should I hold off on completing this battle if there's still sidequests I want to do?

Also, I'm missing 4 GFs. I know how to get Bahamut and Tonberry King. I know I need Doomtrain, but how do you get him? Also, who is the last GF and how do you get them?

Personally, I would get the GF's first. Not that you need them to beat Adel but least you'd have got them!

The last GF your missing is Eden which can be obtained by drawing it from Ultima Weapon or you could wait till disc 4 and draw it from Tiamat in Ultimecia's castle.

For Doomtrain, you need to get 6 Steel Pipes, 6 Remedy+, and 6 Malboro Tentacles and then use the ring you can find at Esthar. Steal Steel Pipes from Wendigos, Remedy+ have to be made using Alexander's Med LVL Up ability, and Malboro Tentacles you can either Card Mod or steal from Malboros in the island closet to hell

Yeah, capturing monsters isn't too rough. Earning Auron's won't be too bad. I haven't played any more, but I aim to complete as much as possible in these playthroughs. So for instance, if I give up trying to dodge lightning, then so be it. But I am totally fighting any optional fights that I can!

If I can go back 10 years, there was a glitch to that. There's this accessory that made the lighting appear quicker. Unfortunately, don't remember what was it.... Enjoy every piece of the side quests and when you get to the final boss. Tell us your experience lol.

What he means by Ultima Weapon, he's located at the Deep Research Center after you have beaten Bahamut. I believe it was 50 floors of hell to get to the bottom.

But you do have fight random battles even if the Enc-None ability is junctioned.

I Forget the monsters you have to fight but think you have to fight approximately 10 battles. Took me a while and can be tough going, so make sure you have plenty of time as there ain't a save point until you reach the point you fight Ultima Weapon. Oh and btw the save can only be found if you have move/find ability junctioned

Theres a little one in Winhill and the shumni village you can do. You don't get much for doing them though. Apart from that I can't think of anymore

Don't you need the pocketstation to fully do the Chocobo quests?

Don't think the Chocobo side quest is as fun as the one in FF VII

I just opened FF8 again on my Vita and I completely forgot where I left! I'm at a savepoint in my dorm on disc 2 with 23:51 on the clock but I can't figure out what I was supposed to do...

Okay, I got it. I have beaten Norg and Ellione just went to Edeas ship.

I can either continue with that or go on with Persona the Golden. Not sure yet.

Hmmm...that sounds early in the game. Whether you should have the garden on mobile.

This happens after the Galbadian Prison Mission. The Garden is mobile now. Kinda sorta somewhat early.

Glad you were able to figure it out. With FF, if I take like a 5 month or longer break, I have to start over. I feel so out of it and feel like I remember nothing of what's going on. Hate that feeling.
