I didn't know you could do that! Will have to remember that if/when the HD version finally gets released

Is that in the original version released in the States? Or only in the International Version? I never did 100% in FFX, so it's possible I missed such an item, but I've never heard of that before (not calling you a liar, just curious if it's an item I missed/ never encountered/ it wasn't in my version of the game). No matter what, that's a pretty cool item. I can only imagine how powerful the characters would be then. Personally, I've never had the patience to level my characters beyond completely mastering 3 different sphere grid sections (sectoins = an individuals native region). I might have to go back and do that, along with everything else I've neglected to do. Like dodging Lightning 200 times in a row or dodging those darned Butterflies in Macalania Woods. Don't know which one is worse.

FFXHD also includes X-2 on same disc, but sold separately on Vita:

The PlayStation 3 version of Final Fantasy X HD will include both Final Fantasy X andX-2 on a single disc, according to a 2ch rumor* picked up by FF-Reunion.On PS Vita, each title will apparently be sold separately.
Each game will also include its respective International edition content, according to the rumor. A release is planned for 2013.
* The information supposedly comes from next week’s issue of Jump. According to FF-Reunion, the poster has a proven track record with these types of leaks.
Update: Scans from Jump have confirmed the rumor.

2013 apparently.

Something tells me no, as the PS3 will have X-2 packed in, where it's not on Vita. Plus, I'm sure it would've been announced already if they were planning that.

Ok, so some of these side quests are complete shit. The butterflies? The chocobo course? Dodging lightning? It's not that they aren't possible, I know I could do them, but it's just no fun. I've attempted each side quest without much success. I think I might just go grind and do the Omega Ruins.

That's what makes this title the easiest FF of all time. I forgot the point of the butterflies but most of the mini games are about the sigils for the legendary weapons. Once you get the legendary weapons full potential you'll be able to break damage limit 9999 to 99999. Which is not necessary throughout the story line except for the final boss and the battle arena.

Almost forgot, you can't lose against the final boss in FFX...lol

Oh I see. It's not a big deal, I know I don't need the best weapons for the story. Since I probably won't play FFX again for at least a few years, I wanted to get as much out of it as possible.

As mentioned, you really don't need to break the damage limit for the story. However if you want to take on those Dark Aeons then it's essential!! Although I think those are only available on the Japanese and International versions, not the US version. Could be wrong though

No youre right. but That's another reason I'm excited for the HD release! It's supposed to be the international version! Or at least that's what I read!

The Dark Aeons made doing all those little annoying side quests you were talking about, seem worth it.

Yeah, my goal was to finish those side quest primarily for the battle arena. So I could attempt those hard fights. Dunno if I will, though. Going to focus on some blitzball for the time being.
