Really hoping for the PSOne compatibility to receive a solid release date next week. Looking to do a FFVII to FFIX run through and holding off to do it on the hand held.

Oh and I started Star Ocean earlier just to see how it plays, seems pretty good! Ain't gonna do to much on it though until FF VIII's completed

What is the best setup to beat Marlboro?

Trying to get Doomtrain and beating the Marlboro's are a pain in the ass with their bad breath!

Ribbons are the best bet, if not just go for esuna junctions to help with stopping status debuffs

Yeah marlboros are assholes lol. A little update: got Knights of the Round! So now I just dropped into Midgar. After that's done, then I'll get Omnislash. Tonberry kicks my ass in the battle arena lol. So I'll do it after Midgar

Beat the game. After Midgar, the Northern cave is all that's left.

A ribbon is an accessory. You'll have to wait for Chille on where to find one

You can't equip accessories on to characters though in FF VIII

I actually just beat Hojo. So gonna get Omnislash and kill 2 of the weapons (fuck Ruby! Lol) and then beat it

If need be kill ruby the long cheaty way, kill 2 characters, keep cait sith alive, have him start match with limit break, his instant kill limit break slot can kill ruby

No shit? Lol I may try that. Since you're the FF Master, let me ask you. I just beat Midgar, and got to disc 3. But in Midgar, when you're running up the subway tracks, if you go left instead of right at the dead end you go up a little ladder and it takes you outside in front of the Shinra bldg I think. Well I thought that was the way to go so I backtracked and went the other way which ended up being the real way. So my question is, did I miss anything?

You might of missed W-item materia, which really is only useful for the dupe glitch

W-item materia lets you use 2 items per turn, if you press X on first item say yes, then go to 2nd item press X then Circle and the first item you picked is duplicated
