I did like VI myself and your right everything about VII u can say about VI. The only thing i can put down is the graphics. Being a guy who grew up when the ps1 first came out i found i had to 'deal' with the graphics.

That aside i would probably say VI has a better story than VII. Your post has tempted me to throw FF VI into the ps3 and complete it again lol

That post is a blast from the past lol i never got around to playing VI, I started VIII instead lol

Back to your point though, yeah they are a little misleading. But playing through V at the moment, the graphics aren't that much worse than the pokemon handheld games (in my opinion) and I play them no problems so I think I have learned to deal with the graphics now lol

I never had (S)NES but I had a classic gameboy so the graphics weren't new for me. A couple of years ago, long before Nintendo started their virtual station thingy I played FF6 with an emulator with enhanced graphics filters and stuff. It felt more consistent then the PSN versions.
I also played Chrono Trigger back then, which I liked more than any FF game even today. Too bad they never did anything with the franchise after Chrono Cross, which was very awesome too, but not as good as FF7 and FF9.

I liked the Chrono series for their multiple endings, something that FF is still missing.

I also have the FF3 remake on my android. I still hope Square releases the game in NA on PSN, I really don't like the touch controls.

Heard some great things about Chrono Trigger but have never played it so can't comment.

The only multiple endings in the FF series is X-2 and XIII-2. Didn't like X-2 all that much and haven't played enough of XIII-2 to judge.

Not all of them. I started FF1 on the iPhone but found it boring. I also have FF2 on the iPhone but haven't started playing.
FF3 on Android but paused for now. I played 5 to 6 hours so far and it's fun.

I have started FF4 on emulator but never gotten far. I think I'll buy the PSP complete edition once I finish FF8 and FF3. But I'm secretly hoping that Square will put the NDS version on PSN at some point.
FF5 I never played, FF6 I finished but wasn't very thorough in regards to sidequests.
FF7,8,9 I did complete multiple times, those are the games I really associate with FF.
FFX I finished once, but at some point I started using a hack to force the PAL version back to 60hz NTSC. I read that FFX would support 60hz PAL, otherwise I would have gotten the NTSC version. I'm currently waiting for the PSVita remaster. I never maxed the game because I fucked up the sphere board really hard.
FFX-2 I threw away after a couple of hours. Piece of shit.
FF11 I played too, but I really don't like MMOs that much.
FF12 I started but I don't like the chars. Also I got lost at some point and set the game aside. The game had 60hz PAL support though.
FF7 Cisis Core I played and finished and it was fun, but somewhat shallow. I might revisit the game if Square puts it on PSN.
FF13 I borrowed from my younger brother. Played for a couple of hours but hated the (nonexistant) level design and battle system. FF12 was weird in that regard, but FF13 was just autobattle galore.
FF13-2 I played the demo. Better then FF13 and I might even play it if I can borrow the game from my brother.
FF14 I never played but I heard that you can play it like a single player game, if you like grinding. Maybe I'll try this after the relaunch.
FF Type-0 I played the japanese demo on my PSP. Looks really great and plays somewhat similar to Kingdom Hearts BBS which I also like very much. I'll probably buy the game if Square releases the game. Which it doesn't look like.

It ain't available on the PSN for sure man (European anyway) but yeah i know been hearing about this game for years but never played it lol

How do you rate it compared to FF VI? Which i know is your favourite FF
