So I just wanted the beat the X-ATM092 during the SeeD exam but for some reason I couldn't really finish the robo-spider, only incapacitate the damn thing. Is my mind playing tricks on me and I really can't finish the thing? I thought I was able to get an insane amount of AP out of this boss.

    Help!

I tried it twice and both times I did not have enough time to finish the robo-spider off. It's not as easy as it sounds.

I finally did it! I simply set battle speed to max and I had enough time to beat the robo-spider! Gave me a whopping 50 AP!

The placement of the select button makes boosting really awkward. I guess it's the same on the PSP.
I hold the Vita kind of sideways so I can use on thumb for select and the other for the rectangle button but this surely isn't how Squaresoft envisioned this feature.

If I remember correctly, after the graduation ceremony Cid will give you the Diablos lamp, and also there's the story bit where you encounter your first T-Rexaur with Quistis so I'll continue with those and then getting the 0-encounters from Diablos will be no-1 priority for me.

Yeah Diablos is a beast! Always get him as soon as I get the Magical Lamp from Cid. I usually learn Mug first though but I can see why No-Encounters is a high priority lol

I had NEVER thought of that and I actually beat it after intense sweat sessions a couple years ago. Will try this technique on my Vita playthrough!
