I never knew you disliked FFVII. How come?

I meant it was the one thing that stood out from the game to me. Everything else was okay, in my opinion.

Ok guys all my characters are at level 50, and pretty much done everything before going into the void, so am I levelled up enough to beat the game? And what jobs do you guys recommend that I master?

It's been awhile since I've played V, but I'm pretty sure I made everyone mimes and mastered it. Your level is probably fine, couldn't imagine much issue.

I made sure to master white, black'summon and mimes and went in the battle as freelancers.

Lol, it still amazes me you never used memo saves. I clung onto those big time. I might've not grinded as much? IDK. There were many times my party wiped AFTER beating the dungeon boss, trying to leave the dungeon. Memo saves where a good safety net for me

Yep, that's happened to me, and then I'd say "Screw this game I'm done with it not playing it again" only to be going through that dungeon again half an hour later

I had every class for every character mastered and everyone @ LV55ish, and ExDeath still raped me, I think he's one of the toughest final bosses personally, you can just use a Phoenix Down on him though IIRC.

Lol, at least I wasn't the only one dying a bunch on that shit. Kuro, just to reiterate, make sure to stock up on items. Since the MP is based on charges, you will run out. Usually at the end of a dungeon trying to leave. Curious, what does your party consist of?

I played through with a Warrior, Monk, Thief, and Red Mage. Not the best set-up, but I wanted to be diverse and not go traditional. Pretty fun run.

I used Warrior, WM, Thief and BM. Which I think is the easiest setup to use because the Warrior > Knight can use white magic and Theif > Ninja can use black magic.

But yeah definitely stock up on as many potions and antidotes as you can and only use them when you've ran out of cures. That's what I did anyway.

I mastered mostly everything during that time it was quite awhile ago lol every one were freelancer I made sure I had dual weild and dualcast. I abp grinded for so long in the void and made sure I annilated Exdeath

My crew consist of the warrior, BM, WM, and RM.
Gotta grind for that gil lol I'm still in the beginning about lvl 6-7 Just got the bridge rebuilt trying to find where to go.

And I can't remember exactly but as soon as you've mastered a class in 5 you can use the abilities when you have no job equipped, right? I had everything mastered so nobody had a job at the end but it takes AGES to master every job.

Yeah I believe so freelancer gets it.
I think it took me a couple of days but I mastered every one of the I just kill every one off and take all the abp for the one I'm training lol

No worries, Kuro. I was a bit vague when I shifted the chat from 5 to 1. But now we're shifting back to 1.

FF1 also suffers from being very vague in direction for where to go. I believe you have a long trek after crossing the bridge, so you definitely want to be stocked. Don't want anyone dying either.

Lol I found with FF1, no matter what, it's always a good time to grind
Seriously though, I never felt OP. Every dungeon has some kind of mob that does something crazy.

I try to grind til I can't level up with the monster available. Nearly died from a pack of ponies

There shouldve been a cave North of the bridge but you don't NEED to go there yet anyway.

How the hell did you manage to master all the jobs by level 55? I haven't mastered half of them and i am level 50!

And i swear i have never grinded so much in a FF game as I have this

Because IIRC there's a monster that only gives ABP (and also gives the most ABP, 6 I think), somewhere in the void I think. I need to replay it ASAP because I can't remember half of it lol

Isn't there a monster that gives you 198 abp. I think it was called a mover that monster that looks like 3 eyeballs.

Yeah that's that one, but you need to kill all 3 fast to get all the points. I got mixed up and thought the Movers were in FF4 but the rare enemy you want in FF4 is the pink puffs which has 1/64 chance of appearing and 1/64 chance of dropping a pink tail to get the best armor in the game. I gave up on them because I spent hours trying to get into a battle with them to get the tail.

Oh yeah that's right I think I used that gil toss attack to kill it.
I remember them bieng pretty strong too.

Yep I used gil toss on them too, also did it a few times on the Iron Giants because they took too long to bring down.
