Lol who knew throwing money could be so effective its kinda like paying your way to win. Its a good thing I had a lot of gil cuz the higher it is the stronger the attack. Now that I think about it this is how I killed Exdeath

Ok thanks! Are the monsters that give 198 ABP rare? Can you fight them over and over or is it a 1 time deal?

Yeah you can fight them over and over. Making them appear is another thing though Random encounters.

They're very far into the void though, so you need to save it in the castle just before you got into the dark.

Lol Nah man I never did. I had stopped just before reaching Esthar when Rinoa is knocked out and Edea is with you, and then I got a Wii U, and then I started watching Doctor Who lol. But I finally finished watching the series, so I've dived back into it!
I'm heading to the Lunar Gate now.

Question: I got the Ward card from Odine. Are there any other rare cards in Esthar?

If memory serves me correctly, there ain't anymore rare in Esther but there are a few rare cards coming up so keep an eye out for them!

The moment you get to the space shuttle, there's a moment when you can face Ellone and get the Laguna card from her. That's worth over 100 Heros. Make sure you have beaten the CCC group too so you'll be able against them again at the Ragnorok on the 4th disc. Also, if you haven't faced the CCC group; a couple members do have rare cards especially the King whom I won't spoil who that is lol but the moment you know its time to face the King of Cards make sure you save sometime before so you draw out the Gilgamesh card which is worth 10 Holy Wars.

Thanks lol. I'm unable to press enter on this site anymore because of IE10 unfortunately. So its going to take me longer to get through some explanatory posts. I notice the same thing with other posters once one of my threads. I kept on quoting them and when I look back they have something different. Did you at least get the rare cards? The thing about facing them again on the 4th disc allows you to repeat rare cards. So, two times Bahamut, Gilgamesh and Laguna cards is the best way to go. That's enough to make sure you can't lose whether against Omega Weapon or the Final Bosses.

Ok my memory is bad but is Omega the one near the waterfall? I think there's another path and that way is optional.

EDIT: Yeah he is optional I think you can go around him or to another path:

Omega is one of the two original optional bosses of Final Fantasy V.

Yep might as well, there's only two optional bosses but they can be tough, and ExDeath himself is actually just as hard or not far off, unlike most final bosses being easier than the optional ones.

Not sure how it happened. I was able to an extra copy of the rare cadds. I endes up getting two gilgamesh cards and bahamut thanks to the ccc group from the ragnorok. @Geraf: depwnds on what you means you mean by "Completed".
