Well after 49 hours of gameplay I have finally completed FFV!!!!!!!

Great game, really enjoyed the job class system. 1st FF game I have played with that kinda system (unless FFX-2 counts but nah! Lol)

Just want to say thanks to Aaron and especially Kuro, for all the help, much appreciated

Well it's either going to be 4,6,7 or 9 but can't decide which 1 to go for.

I'd go for IV, it's similar to V graphics wise, and it's battle system is simple (first FF to use the ATB too).

I have it on disc for the ps1 but also have a ROM version for GBA emulator on PC. Which would you recommend?

Not sure. Can't you speed up on an emulator? Seems it might be worth it for that. And I'm going to be having the same question pretty soon as well lol

Well I know 6 is your fave so why not go for that. Mind you maybe you should concentrate on finishing VIII first

Legend of the Dragoon will be the EASIEST RPG you'll ever experience. Just work on your additions and collect the 50 Stardusts which is the amount I believe you'll need to find in order to fight the ultimate boss fight. Just play against many minions and enjoy the boss fights.

Without reading much of this page, Ray, I would play IX next. It's one of my favorite FF games and the job system is similar to V. Pretty good story, I feel it's undervalued compared to VII and VIII.

I feel the same way. Kuja and the child-like proportions of the characters might be off-putting to some but I really feel like Final Fantasy IX has the most interesting cast of characters and world to explore in the series.

Final Fantasy 9 is truly a classic in the franchise. You can't go wrong trying it. Everything about it is a mystery and world of Gaia is enjoyable going around.

IX is definitely the least polarizing game in the series. I rarely come across FF fans who disliked it.

SNES ROM or PS1 disc, all the future versions were made easier and you must suffer the difficulty.
