What is the world coming to? I pray for all the families effected by this tradegy you cant even go to a movie with family and friends anymore and feel safe I honestly feel this is why i perfer to see movies weeks after release and in most cases just wait for them to come out on DVD.

One of my biggest fears is if someone attacked a football stadium during a game. Football season is coming up and some stadiums house over 60,000. We're lucky that hasn't happened yet.

As for this case, I find it really strange. The guy was in med school, so he had to have some brains. He withdrew from med school when he had a bright future.

Obviously something happened to him, something that just made him completely snap.

I'm not condoning or agreeing with what he did at all, it's just weird. I just don't think it was in him in the first place, I believe something happened to him, something strong enough that made he kill 12 people and walk away like it was nothing.

Sporting events are usually heavily guarded, after what happened in the Munich Olympics during '72. Yet, that doesn't mean they aren't going to be targeted by some sick, deranged psychopath.

Banning things is not the real answer. You have to get into the mind of the person at first, before a cruel act like this can happen. You can not think a person is in any condition to pre-long a civil life, unless they are judged, classified as sane and then go through a stage of entering the real world

That's a shame because it was a good movie. Instead people are only going to remember and associate this tragedy with the movie instead. I noticed a police presence at the theater when I went but I guess that's to be expected after something like this.

This is as dumb as people not going to the beach because they watched Shark Week on Discovery Week or Black Box Mysteries on National Geographic and don't want to fly anymore. I remember movies that came out right after 9/11, especially ones that involved NYC or planes never did well at the box office. I get that it's out of respect, but wouldn't one day or a week be enough? Best thing they can do right now is re-release it. But I respect what WB did, they didn't think about their paychecks.
