Well the Vita is worth $250 if you have the games you like. I've found enough to make it worth it to me but I realize that probably isn't going to cut it for most people. Until the PS1 games are playable and perhaps we get a couple more high profile releases that sucker is going to sit around. Personally I love it but I don't blame people for passing until they get some games in their genre they enjoy. Going to take probably Monster Hunter or a new GTA game or perhaps a GOW. I would love a GOW with touch screen controls instead of those timed events for the finishing kills.
As for a bundle. I think they could do that at xmas. Limited edition bundle....probably be more like $349 though because $299 would be hella cheap. Doable for Sony but again I just don't see them doing something that doesn't make a profit. I would think something like that as black friday deal at best buy or gamestop for $300 would be awesome. If they move out enough slims between now and black friday we could see some crazy super-slim sales for xmas. Problem is the channel is pretty stuffed right now.

Why would they need a 16gb flash drive for the ones with dedicated hard drives? Sorry not the biggest tech head but what would that serve?

But it would not make financial sense to do that, and really why add an extra 16gb when you are giving people hdd's that are more than enough in size.
I am assuming the 16gb version will still have an open slot for a hdd and if so it's a brilliant move by Sony as many want larger hdd's anyways.

Could It be a 16GB SSD? I Have seen 32GB ones in the past so I bet there are 16GB ones kicking about and be dirt cheap.
Wonder if these new PS3 will have a SATA II controller.
MAke is £99 and I will rebuy one.Last edited by keefy; 07-24-2012 at 23:11.
