I said a long time ago that Sony would do bundles rather than a price drop. http://www.gamezone.com/products/ps-...eating-bundles

It's too early for a price drop. Just bring out more interesting exclusive titles.

I honestly believe a price drop would really help this struggling console...yes more interesting title but 250 for an entry level model portable you can get a ps3 for that price...

damn, was hoping for a price drop by the time I was ready to pick one up. But I guess if i continue to wait for patch 1.8, and it continues to be down the road....might have 2 price drops by then

This is great news! Now, they need a white PS Vita 3G bundle. I'm tempted to get the AC bundle, but the memory stick is only 4 GB and it's a wifi PS Vita.

People are such hypocrites. First, they praise Sony for pricing the console $250. A year later, the same people criticize them for it being too expensive and having no games. What? They clearly haven't got a clue.

We'll see in 7 more months is this has made a significant impact on vita sales. I wouldnt spend 250 for a portable console when i can get a ps3 for the same price if i had to choose but thats just my opinion we'll see how this all plays out

If they bring out the right bundle I'd get one instantly.

If they throw in memory card and game all at a reasonable price bundles are probably better anyway. They're just unwilling to cut their margins on the actual console itself

They lose less on Software by bundling it if any loss.

Source: http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/04/s...s-creed-iii-l/Still not sold on the PlayStation Vita? Then Sony's hoping that it's latest bundle will be more to your liking. In addition to the just-announced Assassin's Creed III: Liberation game, it packs a limited edition "crystal white" PS Vita (WiFi only), along with a 4GB memory card. Unfortunately, you'll still have a bit of a wait before you can get your hands on it, with the bundle only set to hit stores on October 30th (coinciding with the game's release). No word on a price for it just yet, nor is there any word on the white PS Vita being sold separately. Not to be left out, the PlayStation 3 is also getting an Assassin's Creed III bundle of its own, which includes the game and some exclusive DLC -- no price for it either, though.
