It was just the right time for the chaotic explosion. You have to admit though, for PSU to be chugging along like this is still impressive because it was never a big name. Have to respect that.

The glory days of forums are pretty much over. Only forums with a very specific niche seems to thrive nowadays, with the exception of GAF, perhaps. This forum has been around for a long time, so that's something to be proud of but it'll probably never be as big as it once was but it can still be a great forum, just on a smaller scale.

There's another forum I still go to that I've been with since 1999, believe it or not. Only a handful of us are still there... that is a long damn time to be on a forum.

Frankly debate used to be allowed. Now days its less about debate and more about labelling whoever said something.

When I first started here we used to debate and discuss things. Doesn't happen anymore least you get accused of "spin" or attacked and labelled.

yeah, they're doing that to you in the orbis thread if im not mistaken??

although i think those members are in the minority.

i love new perspectives. regardless of the source, people seem to think that a debate must be approached with hostility or something

regardless, if they aren't open to other view points then thats no reason not to keep on going. most people (and some who aren't signed up) will still enjoy the differing opinions regardless, i know i do
