PSN Stores is reporting that a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta just went live for PlayStation Plus subscribers in Hong Kong and Singapore, or for any users savvy enough to finagle the system and become a subscriber to that region. The beta test features the six originally announced characters, playable in multiplayer matches.
Despite North America and Europe not having access to this beta at the moment, this news certainly makes our chances of getting a beta much greater, especially since Sony recently promised an “action-packed” beta for PlayStation Plus subscribers in July, however that got pushed into August.
The game is due to be released October 23, 2012 in North America and October 26 in Europe.

I think we'll see a beta, or at least I'm hoping that we will in the USA. I wanna give it a try and decide whether it's something I prematurely disliked.

I'm sure they will be announcing at least 2 more characters at least at every even from no til release. Gamescom, TGS and any other cons happening.
