Should Gran Turismo 6 be on PS3 or PS4?

Last I heard this is rumor in development... think we'll see it on PS3? My guess is, knowing Polyphony, it'll be PS4. Think it could be a launch game? What about Vita?

PS4, GT5 is being patched and getting plenty of DLC, which is better than releasing a $60 entry every year.

It'll come on PS4 for sure. Doubt it will be a launch title. Apparently there will be a shit load of tracks. Less Nissan GT-R's would be preferred.

What about some Vita love? Maybe not a straight GT 6, but at least a portable version? I agree it'll probably be a PS4 game and highly doubtful we'll see it in the first 24 months of next gen release.

From a financial point of view, PS3 would make most sense. Massive install base, massive fan base and the ability to take over some things from GT5 -> 6 would be pretty cool. The game would sell really well as always

I would love it to be an early PS4 game.

I think it makes more sense to develop it for the PlayStation 4, although we'll probably see Kazunori Yamauchi and his team release a Gran Turismo title for the Vita first. Like Aaron said before, within the next two years.

I think it should be on the PS4. I am getting tired of the PS3 and really want to get excited for new games on new hardware.

However, I would love to see a PS Vita Gran Turismo game.

It'll be out in the fourth year of the Vita, at the earliest. More correct would be the fifth year.

I hope that free roam mode is possible in GT6. I remember some discussion about that in the GT5 section almost two years ago.

If they release GT6 now, then I don't know how long they would take/we would have to wait for GT4 on PS4.

Either way, I think if they don't release another full game, I'd be alright with that. So long as they don't take 5+ years from the date of announcement to release it.

I think Gran turismo 5 is plenty for ps3.Gran Turismo 6 will be on ps4.

Inside info? Yeah, GT PSP says "hey". Obviously Gt6 isn't going to be on the PS3. The content they are supplying for Gt5 is proof of that easily.

Every title should be a PS4 title simply because of the new graphics enhancements it'll bring.......but I'd actually prefer a fully optimised, tuned to the max flawless PS3 GT6 then wait even longer for a less feature rich game, just like GT4 was on PS2.
plus GT6 is more then likely a PS3 title anyway

I thought there might be a minuscule chance of it coming out on the PS3, but then I heard some rumor that they're working on a Vita version, which pretty much killed that idea.

I don't really care - it'll come out when it comes out. I don't understand why people think it could be a launch title for the PS4 - GT5 was supposed to be a launch title for the PS3 and you see how that worked out. It takes those people at PD half a decade just to create an engine to run on a new console.

Since it takes 6 years to create one it NEEDS to be on ps4! It would be GREAT if it was a launch title for the PS4 then i would really have to consider buying a PS4 day 1 for sure

It's coming for the ps4. PD is usually quite open about the titles they're developing, but it's been 2 years and we haven't heard a word yet. If it were a ps3 title, we would've heard by now, especially considering Kaz said he wanted gt6's development cycle to be shorter and he planned it to take 2 years to make. It makes sense that next year at e3 when sony (I assume) shows the ps4 for the first time, it will show gt6 as one of its titles. I'd guess it's not a launch title, but definitely something to be released within the first year.
