god, this makes me miss playing COD4. i forgot how awesome those maps were. crash, ambush, crossfire, pipeline, overgrown, backlot, vacant.. im going to try and play some COD4. i hope everything isnt hacked.

I forgot about carentan. I loved that map in cod2. The remake, Chinatown, was good, but I liked carentan better.

I just came into this series with MW3 (coming over from Killzone series), so I'm really only familiar with MW3 maps at this point. I noticed no one mentioned any of the MW3 maps---are the maps that bad for MW3, or were the other MW game maps just that much better?

for what it's worth, I like Lockdown and Terminal from MW3 (I play FFA only)

very excited for BO2, as several of the maps that we've seen look pretty sick.

Terminal was a MW2 map re-done, just incase you didn't know but I'm sure you did.

The best maps were definitely in some of the older games. MW3 had the worst set of maps in my opinion. None of them truly stand out as good maps in my opinion. Maybe I'm being harsh but there were so many better ones in older Call of Duty's.

Although I loved KZ, the pace of play and the lack of true FFA DM is what brought me over to COD.

I'm an old school PC Quake and Doom player from back in the day, and there just hasn't been a comparable game in terms of fluidness and pace of play in multiplayer on console---but COD comes close IMO.

either afghan or wasteland, not the best map design I've ever seen, but there was just something about those two maps...

mw2 : Terminal , highrise , scrapyard > all good

As far as mw3 is concerned have a love/hate thing going on with Dome, mainly because sometimes I beast other times I suck donkey dick lol I'd say Lockdown is my favourite mw3 map but haven't tried the 3 new ones yet
