This is the next film from The Wachowski's (The Matrix, V for Vendetta) and Tom Tykwer. It is an adaptation of a best-selling book. The trailer is very long, but I don't think it spoils too much...
Synopsis:
"Cloud Atlas" explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.
Directors/Writers:
Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachowski
Cast:
Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving, Keith David, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Zhou Xun, David Gyasi

If you watch the interview, they say they thought the longer trailer was needed because it was so hard to explain what it was about without it..Trophy-licious!

Definitely one of my most anticipated movies this Fall. The plot kinda seems like they're playing with parallel universe theory.

I'm intrigued. The Wachowskis have been coasting on the success of The Matrix.
The other director did Run Lola Run which was actually pretty brilliant, simple yet meaningful and theme-driven.

Looks ok, we will see.
I'm more interested in seeing Les Miserables.

Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, and I forget which actress was singing... directed by Tom Hooper = Nothing short of greatness.
