Tips for a Witcher 2 noob

About to start playing this soon on my Xbox. What tips and tricks do you guys have to help me on my very very long journey.

Play on easy, i found that the combat is pretty difficult and intricate the first time around.

Aside from that its a very open RPG where you have a lot of choice. Now if you want to do a lot or all of the side quests, sometimes they are so well crafted that it's hard to differentiate them from the main story missions. I suggest having a look at a quest guide when you reach the first 'hub' area, so you don't accidentally do a main story mission and move on. Not in all cases, but a few times I accidentally did a quest that would lock me out of others and I didn't know

Not played that game in a while. I loved the combat in it. My tips would be to dodge counter and use the correct sword when needed.

May start another play through on pc soon
