Anthony Joshua wins Gold for Great Britian in the Super heavy weight boxing. Joshua was behind by 3 points going into the final round but went all out on the Italian and clearly outboxing him and whats more it looked like the Italian was punch drunk at times, staggerig and stumbling and keeping his guard low he was clearly in trouble.

The Judges scored it equal 18 points a piece so had to do a countback (whatever that is) and awarded it to Joshua wto the amazement and fury of the Italians who put in a protest.

I had no doubt that that we would win the gold in basketball. Lebron, Kobe, Westbrook and Durant. That's crazy talent right there.

I've spoken on those laughable twitter posts. A handful of twitter posts doesn't represent America, if anything, it represents the internet tough guys. I've said it before, this country is utterly obsessed with WWII to the point of needing to seek medical attention.

Apparently the U.S. does. If we hadn't of won that would of been the talk of the Olympics. Not this time bro. 46 gold medals for the U.S. And to think, a lot of people thought China would walk away with the most golds/medals this time. This just proves that we have some of the best athletes/olympians in the world.

    That is true.

    It's actually insane.

You guys have astro turf? What's that like?

Our athletes train in sheep farms.

    We do pretty well considering.

You're reading into it too much dude. I was only speaking on the reactions.

    Though that "non-handball" was unfortunate. That's a handball 9.9/10.

Since it was Alex Morgan, I'll let it pass....

No I don't think so. I know exactly what you were trying to say in that other thread too. You basically called us bigots. If you didn't mean to then you should of said "some Americans" but you said "Americans" which means everyone.

Wow, I would like to apologise on behalf of every decent British person for destroying a Freddie mercury/queen song by having some shitty singer do a cover of it, i actually flipped out.

    No you are. Trust me.

I think it's just as unfair because I didn't put in a qualifier? No. It isn't. Why would I hide it anyway? If I see something I'll say it (see other thread). I don't need to dink and dunk insults (without resorting to name calling).

    Like I said:
    http://www.psu.com/forums/showthread...=1#post5886940

Obviously I'm being facetious (so don't turn your bigotry on me
) but this is rather unfortunate. Again, it's not like they lost (which would at least prvide some excuse).
Maybe you should really calm down about this? I dunno.

Either way, I don't think why you should care if you are not like that(as per the comments in the article page).

My point still stands -you are reading too much into it.
