I wanted to buy Max Payne 3 from steam and play it on my PC. But after I read the system requirements I ran away. Look at the requirements:
OS: Windows 7 32/64 Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 32/64 Service Pack 2, Windows XP 32/64 Service Pack 3
Processor: Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ - i7 3930K 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ / AMD Dual Core 2.6 GHZ - FX8150 8 Core x 3.6 GHZ
Memory: 2GB - 16GB
Hard Disk Space: 35 Gigs
Video Card: NVIDIA® 8600 GT 512MB VRAM – NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680 2GB VRAM / Radeon HD 3400 512MB VRAM - Radeon HD 7970 3GB VRAM
Sound Card: 100% Direct X 9.0 compatible – Direct X 9.0 compatible supporting Dolby Digital Live
I have CPU I73820, Video Card: GTX 560 1GB, 16GB OF RAM, 2TB HDD.
Who would have I73930 and GPU GTX 680? They are very expensive to get and it seems that game is big. Any idea?![]()

ITs surprisingly well optimised ot be honest my medium ranged computer runs it quite smoohly at aabsolute maximum settings.
Windows 7 64bit
AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.7GHz
8GB RAM
AMD 6870
If you do not hav 8GB RAM or more why not its dirt cheap thesedays.
But the mosue acceleration pisses me off, there is an option to "remove" it but it doesnt work. Also it seems impossible to bind actions to mousewheel other than "next/previous weapons."Last edited by keefy; 07-29-2012 at 10:34.
