Anyone else play these games? Decided to post a thread on this since i just started playing Sly 2:Band Of Thieves yesterday.
I downloaded the 1st game free from the PS Store a good while ago and got the Platinum trophy on it.
I then seen that the trilogy package was for sell for €12 on the store a good few months back. I enjoyed the 1st game so i decided to purchase the trilogy at that price. Like i said, i only started the 2nd game yesterday and it seems a bit better than the 1st, in gameplay wise because its more of an open world map than the 1st game. Im looking forward to completing this game with a Plat trophy and then move on the 3rd instalment of the series.
PS. I noticed recently that the Sly Trilogy is now €20 on the PS Store compared to only €12 when i bought it months ago.

Yup, one of the most underrated series of all time. The game is not Mario but very close to it. The characters, setting, story, gameplay is all top notch !
Can't wait for Sly 4 !!!!

Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter and Sly Racoon are Sony's trinity of platforming amazingsauce. The Sly games are definitely underrated. Such a cool series. I'm playing the trilogy again now.

In this order
Ratchet series
Jak series
Sly series
Sly would be the worst of those series by a huge distance, I forced myself through the sly series and it gets too repetitive for my liking.

Ratchet & Clank is my fav of those 3 series the games are just such a blast to play, levelling up the weapons alone is mouthwatering enough :3. I would rank Sly series as 2nd as i do feel the atmosphere in those games are way better than the one in the Jak games. The difficulty balance is also alot better in R&C/Sly than the annoying difficulty curve in the Jak games. Atmosphere wise Jak 2 & 3 was a letdown to me aswell

I never got into the Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter games. I might give them a go sometime yet. I think i have one of the Ratchet & Clank games downloaded since the time the PSN went down. Just never got round to playing it yet.

Im on Episode 7 in Sly 2 and only noticed there that each episode or level, if ya wanna call it that, it bigger than the previous one. I know this game is more open world than Sly 1 was, but each level in Sly 2 is progressively getting bigger as you go through the game.
Did anyone else notice this or am i just imagining things? LOL.

I finally got the Platinum trophy for Sly 2 this evening. I think i might give it a day or two before i start on Sly 3. I recently downloaded Darksiders, so i'll play that for a bit then go on to Sly 3.
