I have a bad habit of not completing games before selling them and buying another. I never competed Arkham City but after watching The Dark Knight Rises I'm really tempted to buy it again and actually see it through to the end. Do you think I should re-buy it? I see it's also on PSN for the same price as retail. Is it worth getting the PSN download?
Thanks

Got £20 at GAME and traded it in for RayMan Origins I have already pre ordered the GOTY at Tesco Entertainment
Go here and you can use this code to get 15% off any pre ordered above £25 so add as much as you like say like Batman and Borderlands 2 and you get 15% off the lot

To me, Arkham Asylum was the better game, having said that Arkham City is worth seeing it through to the end.
And in your position, yes I'd download it at this point, but I'm in the minority for digital games, so I'll leave it up to you.
I'd personally buy the standard edition as well, the GOTY cover is hideous but the DLC vs the difference in price for the GOTY edition is about the same anyway, so I'd get it now.

Hell yes!
I never thought that AA and AC would be something I could enjoy, but I gotta tell you, those two Batman games are some of the best gaming experiences I've EVER had. Especially Arkham City. I don't know why so many people say Asylum is the better one. I think it's because it was their first Batman game that featured this particular style. But Arkham City beats it in every way. If you're honest, Arkham City is better.
I don't know when the GOTY version comes out, but if it's not too long, then I'd wait for it. I got lucky... a local multi media store had a special offer. Three games for 50 Euros. I picked Batman Arkham City, Deus Ex Human Revolution and the "Ottoman Edition" of Assassin's Creed Revelations. This, and Arkham Asylum for 20 Euros was a great deal I think.
Anyway... if I was you, I'd definitely rebuy it. AND NEVER SELL IT AGAIN. Why would you sell such a great game? That's not a bad habit, that's just... sorry... no offense.
I can understand if you sell games that get a facelift every year... COD (everything but COD4, that's something you gotta keep!), sports games, racing games, and games that you don't really care for.

I'd wait and get the GOTY edition with that hideous box art. As terrible as it is, you don't need to look at it. Plus, you could always just print out a different cover.

“Thank you Mario! But our Princess is in another castle!” (Super Mario Bros.)
"Why not take a break? You can pause the game by pressing +." (Wii Sports)
“It’s super effective!” (Pokemon series)

I personally would have never gotten rid of it. Arkham City is an awesome game, on of my favorites, and I can't wait for the next one. After watching TDKR I actually started reading some Batman graphic novels. The Batman/Catwoman romance has me really interested at the moment.

I say BUY IT. But maybe wait for the GOTY edition.
I just beat AA for the first time a month ago and I loved it! Now im in the middle of AC, and it's great too. These are games I think i'll keep.
But weather u buy them or not I'd still try and beat AC.

I think it all depends on what you want to achieve from this. Are you looking to get the game again just to clear it or do you want to get the Platinum trophy from it? If you just want to finish the game, you're best option is just to rent it or get a lend of it of a mate if anyone has it. But if you're looking for a Plat trophy and you've still a bit to go yet on it, i'd buy it 2nd hand. If you have Arkham Asylum already, it may be worth buying Arkham City just to have it in your collection along side it.
On another note, like a few said already up above, Arkham Asylum is better than Arkham City. Thats my opinion anyway.

Magnificent game, definitely buy it again but wait for the GotY edition, which will undoubtedly have more content thsu making a repurchase even more worth it.

Yeah it was less open world, more story driven, and more focused on Joker/Harley Quinn than any other villain, which is probably why I liked it more. Plus with AA I didn't quite know what to expect, whereas I went into AC expecting to be amazed again. Still a great game though but screw the challenges.
