Me first:
Sega: Already going through a rough patch this gen/no successful new IPs/Yakuza only sells best in Japan
Insomniac Games: No big titles/ lack of success with Ratchet and Resistance/
Eat Sleep Play: Needs a new, appealing game to survive
Platinum Games: The Western consumer continues to look down on JP games, which will make it hard for them to move forward
Valhalla Game Studios: For obvious reasons

THQ..they are already in a shitty spot
Activision..they are taking offers
if i had to pick on of the "BIG 3" Microsoft...if Nintendo and Sony take the top share in america they are done since they have no presence in Japan.

If THQ survive it will be a miracle. I fear for Insomniac. Having left the Resistance IP and Overstrike nowhere to be seen, I can't see them relying on a Facebook game to keep them going. I know they have R&C games still but Sony owns the IP. I can't see how Platinum will survive either. Their games don't sell really and they can't be low budget affairs.

Square-Enix's part of Square-Enix's. What do I mean from this? Forget about RPGs of Japanese games. I see a future with only Hitman, Deus Ex and Tomb Raider games from SE...oh, and lots of FF rehashes with no new titles as well.

As long as Activision has a popular franchise to milk (i.e. Call of Duty), they aren't going anywhere. Square Enix are also too big of a company to really fail. They can announce a dozen or so titles like they usually do and people will still end up buying their games enough times to keep them afloat.

Yeah, I really hope Sega pulls through. They've made some great games.

lol....I doubt that..They are pretty stable financially. Its kind of hard to tell the future but if things don't get better financially for sony, I see them closing or maybe combining some studios. THQ just may pull through now that they have Jason Rubin on board as president.

Would love EA to die a painful death, and FIFA to somehow survive.

THQ and Sega are in bad shape, they may die off outright. A lot of the Japanese pubs are in danger of becoming japan only, Konami, Capcom and Namco Bandai for sure. I've been utterly crushed by Namco, who made some of my favorite PS2 games, because of the decline in the quality of their games. I'm not sure why some people have said Insomniac Games. Is it because they are multiplatform now? The company has just started a new studio, that's not the sign of a failing business. Whatever developer makes the 2K sports games is in trouble, I think, if EA can get a good basketball game out. Sony absolutely ruined 2K's baseball franchise, despite the fact that they had a market to themselves on Xbox. Soccer, football and hockey are controlled by EA. Golf is all EA's. Tennis has too many companies making Wii clones to be competitive.
During E3 I check out the booth babes, and if that's wrong...then maybe I'm missing the point of E3

only post with actual thought behind it....i'd like to rep.....but button is dead

How is THQ coming up??
Saints Row essentially fills the roll that GTA left open.
Company of heroes is the definitive strategy game.
Metro 2033 is practically the love child of PC gaming atm.
all these games have sequels due.
Activision and its subsidiaries look shaky tbh. so i'll put all of them in the list.....Simply put, the man at the top is a TOOL!!
EDIT: also, Rebellion Studios. how these guys still produce games is beyond me.... Yahtzee summed it up best though
