Long-time TM fan here, I bought and thoroughly enjoyed TM PS3. Sure, there were connectivity issues, but any game I could get into was a blast. IMO.
I think the game is just fine and is a worthy installment to the series. I would like to see DLC/more vehicles however, but that's doubtful I suppose.

I Bought it, couldn't be bothered finishing it. For me, that's a dud, I spend 100s of hours on the PS1 & PS2 games.

You know Sony started out with a great online only game with Warhawk. Then came Socom which I think was only a flop because it was poorly implemented not because it didn't have single player. MAG was again a good online only game but the FPS market is hard to get into and it had some issues I think going for that whole 256 player games. I will be honest this game and Starhawk would have benefited greatly from being a simple online only game for like $19.99-$24.99. I think they would have had a bigger install base and if they brought out solid DLC quickly and efficiently in the first month and on it would have been great. Heck some people even would probably even buy a GOTY edition or deluxe edition that would have DLC all packed in. Heck even those pre-order bonuses that give you all future DLC. I think these are the type of games and values that gamers like and these games would have been ideal for it. I think Sony wanted that big $60 value game and really overstretched.
