They still pretty much do, its the UK where the sales of the two across Europe even out (though PS3 is 2m+ in Europe overall).

Its a bit tighter than it used to be, but I think thats due to Kinect,in Spain, and France. Not the sort of crowd to buy fifa at any rate.

I'm not digging for numbers you can do that yourself. It's well known that its ahead in Europe, hence football games and whatnot sell more on PS3, it's not just ahead in Asia. The only places 360 dominates is English speaking territories.

A fact thats not lost on me. I do wonder if thats why Live does so well in those countries and poorly in the more language fragmented ones. Im pretty sure Xbox Live does not have the same appeal in the EU.

Most likely, a lot the services aren't available outside of the US/UK/AU etc. mostly the sports apps.

The fact is, EA is making a lot of money on all platforms(Over 800 Million in just 3 months, damn!). Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC are very important to them no matter how much more one platform is pulling compared to the rest.

It starts now. PS3 is not making a profit, brining out a new console will not solve everything. Plus they are still focusing on silly hand held devices that are not boosting revenue, and we all know that Sony brings a new one of these stupid devices out each year.

If Sony wants to start making profit they need to still keep quality while keeping manufacturing costs down and not having more of a price tag than say Panasonic or in this case Microsoft.

Yep, apparently PC gaming is alive and well. Of course I never had any doubts that it was.

Agreed. And EA is still making good money on the PS3. So EA support will continue as always and thats what counts.

I haven't read any of this thread at all -- but has anyone actually taken into account the fact that Origin has grown extensively over the past year and that PC Gamers now pay EA directly without any middlemen for a lot of its PC products?
