Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 players with save data from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will be able to unlock Hokage Naruto, this week’s Jump reveals.

The magazine also introduces Mifune, the general of the Land of Iron, and Hanzo, leader of Amegakure, as a playable characters.

Can somebody tell me about the Naruto games? I'm getting back into the anime after like.. 5 years (lol) and I'm interested in the titles..

What was that Xbox 360 exclusive from 2 years back or whatever that was gorgeous? Did that have a sequel? Are all of these just 1v1 fighting games?

The xbox 360 exclusives were owned by Ubisoft who lost the license a couple years ago due to not bidding fast enough, so now Cyber Connect have the license for the games, so they now just port the Ultimate ninja series to the xbox instead.

and number 1 and 2 had a small bit of open worldness about them, but not that big really. But generations is just a 1v1 fighting game with 2 asset characters, though all you can do is making them appear, they arent playable in the match

Well The 'Ultimate Ninja' series are MUCH better than that xbox exclusive. However I strongly feel that only fans of the anime can enjoy those games

Well The 'Ultimate Ninja' series are MUCH better than that xbox exclusive. However I strongly feel that only fans of the anime can enjoy those games

I didn't play that game, but from the trailers and such it was more of an adventure game than a fighting one which is certainly exciting. However I thought that their presentation was too weak.

Also I just found out that you can go into awakening anytime you want in UNS3 (even the start of battle). the game has 2.5 years worth of dev time behind it and they hope to include all episodes that air until 2013 in it (not actual episodes but the story and characters)

Generations was so weak compared to the first two. I felt like it was a leap back.

Anyways if only having the save data for Generations is enough then at least something good came out from it.

I'm skipping generations and getting this one. The Hokage Naruto in UNS2 is basically an alternate skin of the sage mode. If this is the same as that then I don't really see the point

No. This Hokage Naruto in UNS3 looks to have longer hair and appears to be older looking, this is how he should be.
Generations was a fan tribute game and I loved it. They added new things which improved the fighting, such as limiting how many times you can substitute jutsu and of course more characters.
