Go ahead and trade that 360 in. You won't miss it when you start playing the PS3.
The PS3 is going to go down as the greatest gaming console of all time. It has the most highly acclaimed exclusives since the SNES. And it does just about everything the 360 does online wise for free!

The online works well on PS3, I can't remember having lag (not much into FPS, but played racing, Borderlands, golf) and only loss of connexion I had was in turn based games so could be the other guy quitting the game.
