Kinda upsetting as skyrim is my most played game this year. I'd still would prefer to wait rather than corrupting any of my game saves. But the possibility of not seeing the DLC at all...

Dunno what their problem is, I have Skyrim on PS3 and it runs fine and is a great game. Delays make people (like me) uninterested and less likely to buy it!

This doesn't really make sense to me since they were able to fix the PS3 version of the boxed game. So since they found a solution for that then why are they now having problems with the expansion?

Yep exactly. Its the same code so why is there suddenly a problem again now? That just doesn't make sense to me.

    Conspiracy brah! Lol.

Seriously though this is concerning me. As DV has said, I've never had a problem with my ps copy. Like many I'm growing disinterested. Not good for any future relationship..

Agreed. But why the substantial delay?

It usually isn't that simple. New dynamic quest story lines, new areas and new skill tree/transformations can overlap or bug the existing stuff and considering how ps3 is already more complex than other platforms you can see why the performance is reduced. (keep in mind 360 version of dawnguard has framerate problems aswell)

Came here to post this. It's better they release it working right away than release it now and get called every name under the sun for releasing a broken product.

It's Bethesda, no matter how long they delay the DLC something will almost always be wrong with it. I've just about wrote them off as far as PS3 is concerned. Been burned twice this gen by them.

Yeah Bethesda has always favored the 360. If I was a PS3 only gamer I wouldn't bother with them either or I would just wait for the GOTY edition.

Sadly that isn't even a safe option with them. I bought F3 GOTY, probably the most broken game that I have played to date. F:NV had its share of very stupid glitches as well. They just can't seem to find a knack for developing on PS3. Although I love their games it is just hard to support a company that just turns a blind eye to a buggy product.

Right..and if there's a chance the DLC may never be released then why even come out with a GOTY edition for ps3?

F3 GOTY ran fine for me, F:NV is the buggiest game ever made but that's not by Bethsoft and is broken on all platforms even PC, which is why I have my doubts on South Park.

Because they can modify the engine enough for a rerelease, if they cant do it in a patch.

And that is why I still hesitate to buy fallout 3 or NV to this day.
Although Skyrim is much better when it comes to bugs

Aside from some bugs, Fallout 3 is actually pretty awesome... It froze on me a few times but still a great game though.

Understood. I guess what I'm saying is how do you trust a seasoned developer like BethSoft to come through when it's obvious they haven't come to grips with the current hardware...especially this late in the cycle. Seems fishy..
