Kinda upsetting as skyrim is my most played game this year. I'd still would prefer to wait rather than corrupting any of my game saves. But the possibility of not seeing the DLC at all...

This doesn't really make sense to me since they were able to fix the PS3 version of the boxed game. So since they found a solution for that then why are they now having problems with the expansion?

It usually isn't that simple. New dynamic quest story lines, new areas and new skill tree/transformations can overlap or bug the existing stuff and considering how ps3 is already more complex than other platforms you can see why the performance is reduced. (keep in mind 360 version of dawnguard has framerate problems aswell)

Sadly that isn't even a safe option with them. I bought F3 GOTY, probably the most broken game that I have played to date. F:NV had its share of very stupid glitches as well. They just can't seem to find a knack for developing on PS3. Although I love their games it is just hard to support a company that just turns a blind eye to a buggy product.

And that is why I still hesitate to buy fallout 3 or NV to this day.
Although Skyrim is much better when it comes to bugs
