It's true, we don't know exactly what happened. The biggest injustice here is that people have already formed an opinion on what happened, and it will never change no matter the verdict is. If it's determined that the cops did murder this guy, then hooray, we've got justice. If it's determined that the victim actually committed suicide, then the faulty justice system let two racist cops go. That's just the idiocy of the public these days.

I just have a hard time believing yo off'd himself over some weed. Already was locked up and then the cops allow him to be in the popo mobile with a weapon? We don't frisk people no more? I've seen some wild shit in my life, so if he really did end himself I'd be surprised. But don't count me in the group who believe he did so. Seems too farfetched to me.

It's possible they didn't search him, or didn't do a good job off it. For me, it's a 100% search for anyone I put in my, or a, car. If you and I are together, and you search the guy and I watch, then he is handed over to me to put in the car, he gets searched again. I can't count how many times I've found shit on people after they've already been searched. I know an incident with two officers on a scene, they both searched this guy, and he was handcuffed with his hands behind his back. About five minutes after being put in the car, I went to ask this guy some questions, and he had a gun in his right hand.
Don't let him killing himself be too far fetched. I've seen video, which I described earlier in this thread, of a guy who was not in cuffs any more, pulled a gun, and killed himself. It happens.

so in the past week I've learned that:
A) cops are incompetent when it comes to handling firearms (via Matrix)
B) they are incompetent when it comes to searching perps (via Fear)
... maybe Mittens is right, time to lay off a bunch of "public servants" ... :-/

Cutting back government is something people should be in favor of in general lol, especially now.

several posts asserting that its "not too far fetched" that the cops didn't search him... or missed the weapon... and another saying you've seen a video where a guy was searched several times and they still missed it...
the crux of your argument here (keeping in mind that I haven't even read the OP or any of the related story)... is that the guy is quite capable of killing himself, while in custody, handcuffed... in the back of a police car...

Cut it.. go for it. We'll see how long it takes the crime rate to rise so much higher that they have to try and deploy those services again. It's hard enough with what you have to keep it tolerable. Will it take one of their houses to get broke into, and no cops around because they have been cut hourly? I know some departments that their local gov't has pinned that... cops get off on midnight, none back till 8am. smh

I'd say, yes, you should find something, given you're in a completely static environment, no stress, no threats, just you and a dressed manikin . Add all the other things that go on when these things aren't in your test room, and that environment is changed and the outcome isn't a "blacken the circle for the correct answer". Let's not even bring into the discussion the education people get in order to hide things better than they did before, from other people that teach how to avoid getting caught from basic procedures, etc. smh

All this mumbo jumbo for what? Because the point of the matter is that there isn't anything that points to any particular way that this happened. Did the cops shoot him? Could be. Did he shoot himself? Could be.Last edited by F34R; 08-07-2012 at 04:10.

I wouldn't go as far as to say cut Law Enforcement. You do have some Superhero Cops out there, too. That's a big stretch right there ya dig me. Haha

I agree with rad.
If you want to lay off public servants you should start with useless politicians and bureaucrats.

My point was you have to assess things pragmatically. Cutting what needs to be cut was what I said.
So appealing to people's patriotism or something in order to 'not cut the military!' is simply an invalid argument and an appeal to emotion. I'm just saying the same should theoretically apply to LEO's and any other part of government.
So long as it is justified.

so what are the odds that this guy was walking around... free as a jay bird... with a glock up his ass... just n case ( I didn't read the story) he got picked up for MJ possession?
...and then what are the odds of him being able to access it while fully clothed and cuffed???Last edited by DayWalker; 08-08-2012 at 04:05.
