They've done this before. I don't think it will move a ton of TVs unless the TVs themselves have better deals on them. They would be better off bundling 3d glasses with this as well to promote the 3d aspect of the console too. I remember buying my Samsung 3d TV a few years ago they bundled the 3d blu ray player and glasses and movie and the TV had a nice discount too.

I seen this special a couple months back this a great deal for someone in the market for a center piece for their entertainment center you get a nice TV PS3 thats a blu ray player, great deal!

I wouldn't bother with 3D glasses. 3D is a thing of the past now.
