Because there are no answers, rumours spread because of fanboys wishing to 1up eachother.
There is totally no need for this thread.

if sony or nvidia would just give us the info. then we dont need to argue over bs

Nobody knows the RSX spec besides devs and we will probably never know them. Why people are still arguing about wich is better, the RSX or the GPU in the 360 is beyond me.
All I know is that games for both 360 and PS3 looks amazing and that's good enough for me.

I say **** it. Let them spread rumors. As with every other rumor started, theyll eventually get owned. Look at the long list of things that have already come to pass.
D
I personally enjoy the days that these rumors get started and then a little bit down the line the truth comes out and theyre standing there going... "but, but, but....". Its great, more entertaining than Dane Cook live.

Just wii fans and xbox 360 fans. If you actually look back most of the so called "bad news" were rumors proven to be false.

It's all a bunch of hewey anyway. Looking at just one component of any system is meaningless. The entire architecture has to be taken into account, CPU, Graphics Chip, how they interact, bandwidth..in other words the entire architecture as a whole. I just ignore those kinds of posts since they really have no meaning to people who understand what really matters.
The proof is in the pudding, look at what the PS3 can already do with the playable games at TGS. Just imagine what's in store for the future.

This issue has become really meaningless and it is doubtful the full specifications of the RSX will ever be known. It doesn't benefit either Sony or Nvidia, so why should they release detailed specifications? Of course, the xbots will go down their silly path of illogical conclusions and say that means they are hiding something and that something is decreased capability. They only look more stupid pursuing these silly lack of logic games because the proof is in the performance of the system. The games shown at TGS aren't even fully finished and they represent 1st generation programming, which everybody knows is only the beginning of what the system is going to be capable of in a couple of years. Seven playable games at TGS were 1080p HDMI at 60 frames per second, so the system proved this performance with games that aren't even totally finished and debugged, plus being 1st generation programming. Give me a break, lying little xbots.

Why did you start a new thread for this? Just find another thread and mae it a reply, this is pointless.

get real busy killin' and maimin' to prove to you that they are." ~Easy Rider (1969)
