I see that they're trying to be different from their usual type of gameplay. Though it looks OK, it's gonna cost them some fans.

Hmm it's hard to tell how it's gonna be just from a video. I gotta play this more myself.

Looks like CoD. Always fun to play with friends so I'll probably buy it.

I think it looks like loads of fun. Of course, it's just a video, so obviously the gameplay won't always be so beautiful, but it definitely looks like something I'll be interested in spending hours upon hours playing.
Black Ops II marks an important transition for the Call of Duty series. The goal of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was to create the most realistic (and dramatic) military experience to date. I'd say they succeeded. Since then, however, the Call of Duty franchise has been following a trend away from downright realism towards a believable yet unrealistic experience. This installation looks to be a strong sign that that's true. Frankly I'm all for this. It's creating a much wider gap between Battlefield, which is sticking to the hardcore realistic experience, and Call of Duty, which is more fast paced and insane.
No need to debate whether or not to get Battlefield or Call of Duty. Get both.SchaffinOSX

Looks like a cluster ****, so must, IMO, stupid stuff that i think will result in a whole lot of " this is unbalanced" crap.
I liked BO, was pretty good, had some challenge to it ( no q scopers, looks like its back, had recoil which has gone, good gun damag which is now like 1 shot kill) and was very balanced with nothing stupid added in just for the sake of "omg that looks cool"
Guess IW had a hand in it.
Guess this just confirms what COD has officially become.
Hope i am wrong.

Looks like Call of Duty. Why do Treyarch insist on having such shitty sounds?

This game will get hate no matter what but at the end of the day it will still be the most played shooter this holiday season.
I'll be getting this for 360 on release. Might also get on PC.Steam ID: satchgear

I think I might actually buy this. I like the look and feel of it. Seems Treyarch is taking the franchise in a direction that Sledgehammer isn't, and it's paying off. MW3 was shit.

It's a matter of preference, really. I like that Call of Duty is somewhat of an, ern, cluster fuck. It keeps things interesting and fast paced, and once you get good at it it can be immensely addictive and fun. It has gone a little overboard before, though (i.e. Harriers in MW2). In general though I see no problem with the growing crazy nature of COD.

The one thing I want now is for them to scrap Call of Duty Elite all together and give everyone the maps on the same day again. Should never have changed that formula.
