Even though I haven't even played a Vita, I gotta go with the 3DS. Simply put, can't beat that Nintendo charm. And even if the Vita has better games, I don't have enough time time/money to enjoy them.

Vita for the technology and overall quality of games
3DS for the amount of games I want to play on the system and am currently enjoying. - The vita will (hopefully) get to this stage at the near future.
Basically, I think the Vita is a better piece of tech but I've been playing more 3DS

I have them both and enjoy them for the content that you'll only get having each one of them.

Right now I prefer the 3DS, but games like AC: Liberation will help change that.

I prefer the Vita. 3DS doesn't interest me. And I like Sony 1st party better than Nintendo. Also Vita has way better graphics and tech.

lol, calm down killer. F34R picked a part of your reply to describe what HE does not look at in terms of which is better.
Your opinion is yours, and your only.
For me I honestly prefer the Vita. But it is not by much. My opinion my be different if I did not love MLB 12 so damn much!!!! Once the 1.80fw releases on the Vita, it will make my decision to choose the Vita even easier.Last edited by Lethal_NFS; 08-08-2012 at 19:59.

Well it seemed to me like he was copping an attitude with me just because he had to reword his post. "Happy now?" and "smh." He could have just clarified what he meant without the attitude. A little respect goes a long way. And having something "make" your decision is completely different than having something "contribute to" my decision. Anyway no big deal. I know what he meant now and I respect his opinion on Nintendo products. And he has more experience with Nintendo than I do.

The 3DS because of the content and how if differs from my other Nintendo console (wii).
Im sure ill end up with a vita one day at the moment no content on it excites me enough to buy it and the price as well.
I rarely used my 3d feature on the 3ds only in mario 3d land cause you need it for some levels.
The 3ds is simple not flashy gets the job done. While i love flashy tech stuff (like the car i drive) the 3ds fits my gaming on the go needs better than the vita and the vita is so nice and expensive i wouldnt want to take it anywhere with me for the simple fear of messing it up and then having a case it be a burden to carry around with my 3ds i can put it in my pocket and not care.

I have both.
Vita is the better hardware by far, but the 3DS has some awesome games and quite a few too. Ironically, the games the Vita needs to really kick on are all on the 3DS at the moment. Monster Hunter (JPN), Kingdom Hearts & Tales of The Abyss etc.

Overall the Vita is a better designed handheld. As for features and OS the Vita is killing it here too. All the Vita needs is games and they are coming, if you never owned a PSP the store is full of games already. Can't wait for PS1 emulation and it'll be the handheld.
The 3DS is nice but I kinda get the feeling nintendo were half asleep in creating it.

Let's take a look at TGS 2012.
Vita - Well it was just distressing. They showed a PS1 Crash game running on Vita and some PSP ports.
3DS - Professor Layton, Professor Layton V Phoenix Wright and a new Phoenix Wright game. Another game by Level 5 called Fantasy Life and more.
It's just chalk and cheese. Half the issue with the Vita is the developers are still willing to support PSP because of the install base. The Nintendo developers are on the whole onboard with the 3DS now. The biggest DS game I can think of this year is Pokemon Black & White 2, everything else is on the 3DS.
They have to do something with the Vita and fast or we will have another Dreamcast on our hands.

3ds....More content and different games from its home console counterpart.
That's its really I think Vita is impressive just not enough content that I can't already play on my ps3. I hope this changes to cause I would like to own a Vita
