I see Nintendo is still kicking all kinds of booty and the Vita continues to crash and burn, even after a slight up tic in sales. I'm curious to see things go when Soul Sacrifice finally get's released. Sony has promised some killer apps in the coming month, but we'll have to see if they deliver.

Still an impressive showing for Sony.

Microsoft can't break 1,000 sales again? Back to the drawing board i guess.

Don't worry, PS3 will be back on top next week probably, DQX seems to have turned out to be another FFXIV and a lot of people probably returned the game. Dunno why they didn't just keep it a single player game, XI better be back to basics for the series, I really hope they don't turn the entire series into MMOs.

The Wii really seems to appeal to the Japanese audience. They have such a different taste in games from the rest of the world.

As for MS, I honestly don't think they care much Japan anymore. TBH, they really don't need Japan since it's selling do well everywhere else.

The ROI in Japan is horrible for MS and they may be better off just forgetting about it. The Japanese culture is very, very xenophobic and MS needs to realize that. They could have the best console around and the sales would only be slightly better. That's just their culture and not a reflection of MS or the 360.

There was a couple couple of year where the Wii was outselling the PS3 shocking it happened at this ppoint of the stage and with the pending release of the wii U makes it impressive but the PS3 will be back

I have no doubt that it is costing MS money to have the 360 in Japan..millions. I assume they want to keep the presence there as they will probably work on getting even more sales with the Xbox 3 in Japan.
