GameTrailers Shane Satterfield Says Assassin’s Creed 3 Looks Best On Wii U

Not surprising that it would look better on superior hardware, but it's a good sign that such a big developer is putting extra effort to take advantage of the hardware in one of the biggest releases of the year if this is the case. He also mentions the added functionality of the controller in the interview on top of the superior visuals.

After playing Assassin’s Creed III on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, GameTrailers editor-in-chief Shane Satterfield claims that the game looks best on Nintendo’s upcoming console and includes added functionality. Satterfield suggests that consumers consider purchasing the Wii U versions of Assassin’s Creed III and a possible launch title that hasn’t been revealed.

I’m definitely getting Assassin’s Creed III. And like Mike said, I’ve seen pretty much all three versions at this point. To me, the Wii U version looks the best. It also has added functionality, so that would probably be the one game I’d buy with the Wii U, would be Assassin’s Creed III.

There’s another game that might make launch that hasn’t been announced yet that maybe I would buy for it. But I can’t really mention that.

Glad to hear that the Wii U is a little more powerful. But will it last when the next Playstation and Xbox come out? I think the Wii U needs to more than slightly better than the current gen. Wii U is a next gen console after all.

Someone in the industry has made a statement after comparing all the console versions, it's fine you're skeptical and all but the guy has no alliances to any corporation.

Considering it's the 'next generation' Nintendo console, this isn't saying anything at all lmfao. Just wait until the next round of hardware pops out from Sony and MS.

And I can promise that Aliens:Colonial Marines will look best on PC hands down, so long as they even half way tried on the port.

Well the plus to this is it shows that Ubisoft is actually putting some effort into this. So that's a good thing heading into Nintendo's next generation, since it was very rare to find one putting it into the Wii. But like others have said, gotta wait to see what happens when the next round of consoles come out from Sony/MS
