I don't think that the author was completely fair in their criticisms. They point out how previous PlayStation-branded products started out slow only to get huge later on but they failed to acknowledge the fact the Vita has been hard launched for only six months. As of today the PS3 is a success but the author went out of their way to say that it's far behind both of it's competitors, which is cow manure.
