This. I was looking forward to these two for the entire summer of July/August. But now that they're coming when I go back to college, I'm not as hyped. I'll still buy them regardless.

DLC won't be free unfortunately regardless of the wait for us PS3 users, but I think the DLC will be $5 so that's pretty cheap.

Yes there is, 4 modes only though which is SKATE, Graffiti, Big Head (not the exact name) and Free Roam.

Well apparently the reason they took so long to release it on PS3 is because the Xbox version had some issues and they were to improve upon them for the PS3. So it should be much better than Xbox version right now.

Did you play the original release? ... from all the video's I've seen thus far it looks like the gameplay mechanics have remained faithful to the franchise!
