I like how this is all playing out.

I think Isaak may be my new favorite villain of the show. The encounters between him and Dexter are some of my favorite moments. That conversation in the gay bar was great.

Yeah, he seems like such a civilised person but you just know he is an animal on the inside.

I was really enjoying it till he got with Hannah, i dont like dexter when he has a woman, i just want him to kill and thats it! still, this season makes up for the shit that was season. I do hope that it all doesn play out in the finale as there is so much going on, quinn, laguerta, deb, hannah, isakk.......

Also, has anyone see the what the name of the last episode is?!?!!?!

i would love it if Doakes came back in vision ala Harry and Bryan

LaGuerta is closing in on Dexter, and now she will have Matthews' help? I think that Matthews, given his relationship with Harry, kind of knew about Dexter but was okay with it, but now it's about helping himself, and he sees it as an opportunity.

I don't really like the way he died. Loved him as a villain (or I guess 'anti-villain' would be a more appropriate term).

Anyone else notice the look on Hannah's face at the end? To me it seemed like she wasn't exactly thrilled with Dexter being so attached.

was odd how they wrapped up the isak thing, but they have given dex the phantom to deal with till the end.

u guys really need to check out what the last episode is called........... the whole doakes/dexter thing has to play out badly......with either lag dying or summit else

OMFG...from that promo, this could mean

That the other Lt. finds out Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher, the killer of all the people they tried to prosecute over 6+ years. Omfg...If it ends on that note, then the next season will be Dexter and Debra on the run from Miami Metro. Friendships would be broken and new alliances would be formed. Omfg.

On a side note

I'm really bummed they killed off Viktor, it was a good death, but he was my favourite new character on the show. Really awesome character. I love all the intimate conversations he had with Dexter in this past episode, and the one before it in the bar.

Nah, there is gonna be season 8 and they dont know if they will continue beyond that........personally, i dont think they will. 8 seasons is a lifetime now these days.......

I love the show but I think everything good should come to an end sooner rather than later. Actors get older... series get stale... best leave it on a high note

It was getting REALLY stale with seasons 5 and 6, but this season is breathing new life into it for me. Using the same logic though, as you said, it would be appropriate to end on a high note.

6 was the worst season ever. just awful. apart from that. the rest have been good if not excellent.

season 2, 4, 3, 7, 1, 5, 6 for me........

It had me goin' there for a second...

When Dexter had to convo with his dad about the the Dark Passenger just being Dexter and being responsible for everything he had done, I was like "Oh brother...". Then when he had Phantom Arsonist wrapped up and Dexter says to him "Your not a kid anymore, take responsibility for what you have done..." and then let's him go. Then I was like "Oh fuck me, are they softening Dexter up?!", but then he kills Hannah's dad and everything is right again!
