    Black Ops II introduces new 'Pick 10' class creation system

    Call of Duty: Black Ops II is making a huge change to the standard Call of Duty class creation system and the first details came out of a pre-Gamescom event on Tuesday for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC shooter.The new Black Ops II class creation system is dubbed "Pick 10" by the team at Treyarch because it allows players to pick any 10 items from the hundreds available to load out their character for multiplayer matches. There are seemingly no limitations to what can or cannot be combined as players can go the standard route of a gun with an attachment for two points, a secondary weapon and attachment for another two points, three perks for three points and two score streak rewards for the remaining two points. Alternatively, the player can completely ditch their primary weapon and use the two points on other items.

    Treyarch also lets players spend a point on a "Wildcard" that is essentially a rule-breaker. Want to add a third attachment to your primary weapon? Then you'll want to spend on those precious points on a Wildcard.

    Naturally, not every weapon is open and available for players to spend their points on right from the beginning. They'll have to earn experience in multiplayer matches to receive an unlock token and a choice of one of seven new items.
    Below are all the weapons, attachment and perks that have been spotted for Call of Duty: Black Ops II so far.

    Liking the sound of it. Will explain why in IGN's rewind trailer some loadouts didn't have primary weapons etc and focused on other areas of the loadout.

    I don't really like this idea. Having 5 or 6 perks seems like it'll be over-powered behind belief.
    It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.

    You still only have 3 perks.

    I like the sound of it, mixes things up. I like how weapons can now have multiple fire modes (something i loved about RB6V/2) and laser sights. Seems they've removed thermal sights and replaced them with target finder.

    They've ruined my favorite perk now though, i don't think Ghost should let you show up on the map at all, now it looks like it's a perk just suited for camping. Shame really, i love classes that take me off the map full stop.

    Maybe a combination of multiple perks will take you off the map entirely? I sure hope so. That is how I roll now. All of my perks are always set to hide me.

    So, this pick 10 is gonna be pick 10 from everything? That's what I'm thinking.
    gun and sight would be 2.
    3 perks
    3 killstreaks
    1 tactical 1 leathal

    But can mix it up like, gun and silencer, 5 perks, 2 killstreaks, tomahawk.
    That's what I've taken from this pick 10 anyway.

    I think you can have 4 peeks right? It says up there with the wildcards that you can pick 2 perks from 1 tier. I don't think you could double up and have 6 but I believe you can have 4.

    @S95B - Yeah fingers crossed. I've always been the type of player that prefers to not show up on the map - It's surprising how much it helps you, couple with dead silence so you can't hear footsteps and a silenced weapon you can flank the enemy and get so many easy kills it's unreal.

    I think by that it means you can have two perks from tier 1 but that leaves you with just one last perk to use. Thats how I read it anyway.

    If you can have more perks then fantastic because my most used Killstreak on MW3 is Specialist strike package, nothing nicer than having all perks. Turns you into a beast.

    The problem I have with silencers is the reduced damage. At least on the AS50 Sniper. It changes from a one hit kill to a 2-3 hit kill. So I haven't gone with silencers
