SONY is saving us all from wasting money double dipping on games xD
Also good to see content on my touch tablet S will also work on my Vita.
They know gamers more than anyone. Fact.
Can't wait for Tearaway. And to play Final Fantasy VII, VIII & IX on my Vita.

So, how does the free crossplay thing work. Is it like a voucher code....I mean I could see a lot of people abusing that....selling it for like $5-$10 after getting it free. Really just wondering...or will a code/key be on the disc?
Anyways some nice games....combine these releases with the PS1 games and Sony looks to be giving the Vita some legs. When I got the MLB12 game on Amazon with the combo deal where I saved $20 on the Vita I knew Sony was headed in this direction.
As for a price drop....don't count on it. We all know the bundles they are coming out with....AC and probably COD. I think if Sony can convince 3rd parties to do the whole free crossover we could see some real momentum on PS3 software sales and Vita sales as well. With the YEN still soo very high Sony really has a hard time dropping prices...but throwing in some free stuff....not as much. Bundles are Sonys preference.

I know.. I just saw it. I cried. I would have loved to see a Liberation type of play with those dual sticks; would be amazing. Visually, content, and experience could be the best ever on a mobile platform; even better than console versions.
I have it on 360 already, but getting it on the PS3 will just be icing on that cake for sure.
Yeah, it's going to be a promising addition for Sony.
Shock hasn't worn off here either.
Hopefully it works that way, but you're going to probably pay the same price. I dunno, hard to figure out just yet.
They aren't doing it for us to save money lol. They are doing it to promote more sales of the Vita. That in turn will get more accessory and games sold for the Vita.
It's going to be a voucher I'm guessing. I also have that idea going around about people selling their codes, etc., so we'll see how they structure this. I don't know how many non-first party games will get this "buy one get one" kinda treatment, we'll see.

My favorite PS3 official PS3 commercial:

However I think the Crash commercials for PS1 were my favorite, there were tons of them...all pretty funny:

It'll be included I reckon. I can see a resounding "stick up your ass bitch" from gamers if Sony ask another €50 for a sub. This will probably be another facet of their plan to create value for Vita. man, if they did an instant game collection for Vita
but I imagine it'll just be discounts...Well one can dream...

The "Instant Game Collection" is fucking amazing value for money. They have already released about 8 retail games and about 4 or 5 PSN games. Even if you got all these games at classics prices you'd pay €160-240, that's excluding the PSN games and that's also just in the first 3 months of the program. The real value in PS+ will be for the new comers to the platform though, who won't have played any of these games. Imagine jumping onboard to current gen on the PS3, subbing to PS+ and getting instant access to inFamous 2, Dwad Space 2, Read Dead Redemption, Borderlands, Just Cause etc etc...I'd blow a load.

I have already recuperated my PS+ sub in savings from the various DLC and games I have bought. If you buy stuff from the store and take advantage of the sales, it's not even like you're just "renting" these games. I would think differently if the games collection innitiative is all PS+ offered.

So I've been at Gamescom today. Here are some impressions:

The same as Netflix or anything like that really.
I can get it if you're not a big user of those though. If you are, shouldn't be a significant difference.
Only the "free" (instant game collections) are not kept on if discontinue PS+. The discounted games purchased off of PS+ discounts are retained regardless of being a subscriber or not.
I honestly don't see the issue apart from nitpicking.
Each their own though.
